Whale Watching tour in Pedasi

Tour Description

Iguana Island is a wildlife refuge of 53 hectares located in Los Santos province – and possesses the largest coral reef in the Gulf of Panama (16 hectares).
The marine surroundings of the island are visited annually – from June to October - by a population of humpback whales, which migrate from the cold waters of the North and South to the warm seas of the tropics to breed and give birth.
This tour begins in El Arenal beach, where accompanied by an experienced captain and a knowledgeable guide you will board a small boat that will take you to the sea looking for whales, dolphins, and sharks.
During the tour, the guide will explain many interesting facts about whales and the responsible observation of cetaceans.
