    This full day tour is the perfect way to discover Panama City.
    First thing in the morning,
    a visit to the ruins of the “Old Panama” – the first city on the Central American Isthmus founded by the Spanish and later plundered by the famous pirate Henry Morgan in 1671.
    After this, and accompanied by your guide, you will visit the charming “Casco Antiguo” or Old Quarter, built in 1673 after Panama La Vieja (the first city) was looted and burned.
    To end the day, you will visit the emblematic Panama Canal. Visiting the Miraflores Locks visitor’s center – the nearest set of locks to the city, makes it possible to learn about the history and the daily operation of the Canal.

    Lunch is included in one of the restaurants of the Casco Antiguo.

    The Guna Yala Indian Region is constituted by 2.357 kilometers of coast and 365 islands, of which only 50 islands are inhabited. Commonly, the region is known as San Blas Islands, and each one of the islands is administrated by a family.
    Thanks to the fact that the Guna population has been able to maintain its identity despite the social and political changes, they are considered to be one of the strongest indigenous groups of Central America - receiving thousands of tourists who arrive from all over the world to enjoy and learn about their lifestyle and the enchanting coral islands they inhabit.

    Akwadup Lodge is a basic but charming eco-resort located in the Achutupu Community of the Guna Yala region.
    To get to the island where the lodge is located it’s necessary to take a 35-minute flight from Panama City to Achutupu airstrip, and then a 15-minute boat ride to the property.
    Its seven traditional, over-the-sea bungalows offer beautiful views of the ocean and the indigenous natural forest.
